It is very helpful to include a map in the wedding invitations (and one in the rehearsal dinner invitations) to ensure that the guests know where to locate the hotel, ceremony site, and reception site (and rehearsal dinner site). Suggested sources on making a map are: MapQuest and/or Google. Just generate a map to print, email or put in your web page to your invited guests (especially those from out of town).

‘Save The Date’ cards are ideal for those couples whose wedding day may still be a long way off. By sending family and friends these cards, you can ensure that everyone knows to keep your special date free.

This way it gives them more than enough time to make travel and hotel arrangements.

If you are expecting out-of-town guests and you are getting married on a holiday weekend, it is a good idea to send ‘save-the-date’ cards.
